As one of the UK's leading manufacturers of garden and horticulture products, Vitax has signed a two-year deal to sponsor The National Forest's Wood Fair.
This is the fourth year that Vitax has supported The National Forest, helping for the past three years to create three hectares of woodland at Normanton le Heath by planting 6,000 trees.
The fair will celebrate its 10th anniversary this summer when it takes place on August Bank Holiday Monday at Brecon Hill Country Park, Leicestershire.
Chairman of Vitax, Paul Gooding, said: "Vitax already has strong links with The National Forest and we wanted to extend that support by sponsoring the Wood Fair.
"The event raises awareness not just about the need to protect and cherish the environment but increases visibility of how wood is used and can be used.
"Over the next few months we will be working together to promote the event, especially among our suppliers and customers. It is already hugely successful and we want to help spread the message of the good work The National Forest does whilst having fun along the way."
Head of fundraising for The National Forest, Lynne Richards, added: "Our partnership with Vitax helps our work significantly and this event will be a great opportunity to promote the importance of wood and the environmental and educational aspects of the work we do with visitors."
