Warmup 'feel-me' display wins award

Underfloor heating specialist Warmup is celebrating after winning a prestigious award for one of its in-store displays.
The company took the Global Association for Marketing at Retail POPAI (Point of Purchase Advertising International) award at a ceremony in London, for its countertop heated tile POS unit, which allows customers to feel the warmth given out by the product.
It was recognised by the judges "for being a display that really hit its brand objectives and bringing key product benefits to the attention of shoppers in an imaginative and engaging way".
Warmup marketing director Nick Felsing, who accepted the award, said: "The countertop is a great selling tool, playing an important role in-store to influence shoppers' behaviour and decision-making process in order to optimise sales. Retailers are enjoying additional sales of approximately 20% and directly attribute this POS as a key sales aid in engaging with their customers and closing sales."
Warmup supplies a wide variety of POS, including its heated countertop, free to its customers.
