Sutton-on-sea hardware store bags accolade for its festive displays for the third year in a row.
Watson Home Hardware has scooped the top prize in the Home Hardware Christmas Window Dressing Competition for the third consecutive year.
All retailers in the group were invited to participate and the overall standard was said to be exceptionally high.
The competition was judged by an independent panel, with two prizes awarded - the first prize of £100 vouchers went to Lennie Watson from Watson Home Hardware, while the second prize if £50 vouchers went to Craig Snape from Snapes Household in Cheadle Hulme.
Home Hardware marketing manager Beverley Wood said of the competition: "This year's standard of entries was very high. The panel had a hard decision in selecting a winner but Watson's eye-catching window displays had the edge. Amongst the many props Watson used included; a life size waving Father Christmas and sleigh featuring Home Hardware Christmas promotion, Father Christmas' tool shed and a cheeky reindeer to grab passers-by attention. The theme was further enhanced by bespoke '3 for 2' signs and artificial snow".
Watson Home Hardware owner Robert Watson said: "I'm delighted we've won. It has taken Lennie and staff approximately two weeks of working late into the evening to create our displays, plus time spent making and acquiring props. We are very proud of our efforts and have received numerous complements from customers".
