Westland launches Masterclass Academy
Published: 18 November 2010
Westland Horticulture is launching its Masterclass Academy at the start of 2011, with a series of educational days across the UK.
The Academy aims to deliver the skills and confidence required by retail staff in the garden sundries area. The days will be lead by The Garden Works, with experienced speakers covering four key categories: the key developments and trends in the market place, customer engagement, how to maximise sales and product knowledge.
Westland's technical team will also be on hand, providing knowledge and understanding to boost confidence when staff are explaining the benefits of various products to consumers.
Westland Horticulture head of marketing Keith Nicholson said: "The 2011 Westland Masterclasses are a must for all garden retail staff; as one of the leading companies within this area we will be using our knowledge along with those from outside professional organisations to reinvigorate gardening within centres across the UK."
The day courses will be held in seven locations across the UK from January 18, 2011. For further information contact Westland Horticulture on 01480 443 792 or email nbacon@westlandhorticulture.com.
