What More acquisition bolsters bakeware offer

British plastic storageware manufacturer What More UK has acquired the innovative bakeware brand PushPan.
What More says PushPan's patented technology offers consumers the only 100% waterproof and leakproof loose-based tins in the world. The products have no spring or unsecured loose bottom, the seal being broken when the PushPan is placed over a tall can.
The deal will see PushPan distributed with immediate effect from What More's Accrington head office.
Ian Wilkinson, inventor of the PushPan, will continue to work with the brand to further develop and grow the product offer around the world.
Said What More managing director Andy Holt: "The acquisition of PushPan further demonstrates our commitment to bakeware. The PushPan product is a fantastic addition to our portfolio and we're excited to be working with Ian. We have big plans to grow and develop the range, producing the products in our own factories here in the UK."
What More began producing bakeware earlier this year under the Wham Cook brand, following on from the acquisition of tooling and machinery from the former George Wilkinson site.
