Jackie Weide takes up role at garden centre’s Wild Poppy Restaurant.
In her new role, Ms Weide will manage the restaurant and catering team at Whitehall Garden Centre, which is located in Norton Lane in Whitchurch, Bristol.

Ms Weide, who lives in Whitchurch, is originally from Bristol but lived in Canada for 28 years, where she worked as catering manager at the University of Manitoba and as a sales executive at Acosta Canada.

Her most recent position was business development manager at First Quality Foods in Bristol.

She said: "I am very excited about being part of the team at Whitehall Garden Centre and am really enjoying the job so far. At the Wild Poppy Restaurant e are dedicated to providing freshly cooked, locally sourced fare."
