Wickes Limerick store to create 40 jobs
Wickes will open a new branch on the outskirts of Limerick today, creating 40 jobs in the local area.

It is the first of 15 new Wickes set to open across the country in the next five years. As a result, more than 400 people will eventually be employed in the home improvement outlets.

Building supplies company Moritz Trading, which has a greed a franchise deal with Wickes, has said that it believes the Irish branches of the home retail chain will do well despite the economic decline.
