Wolseley acquisition bolsters utilities presence
Fusion Provida and UPS are suppliers of utility infrastructure products and pipe jointing equipment hire that distribute a range of products and equipment to utility contractors.

With almost 200 employees, the businesses operate from 11 depots around the UK.

Wolseley UK managing director Steve Ashmore said: "The acquisition gives Wolseley UK an excellent opportunity to expand its presence in the utilities supply chain. It is a strong next step in our strategy to grow in this marketplace and trade in areas where we are equipped to win."

He added that the deal was "in line with our strategy to achieve leading market-positions in all of our businesses".
