Garden centre rewards former commercial director with new role that reflects his invaluable help in rejuvenating the business, says executive chairman, Jim Hodkinson.
Wyevale Garden Centres has announced the promotion of Andrew Livingston from commercial director to chief operating officer with immediate effect.

The chain said Mr Livingston's promotion was well deserved considering his achievements since joining in April 2006: leading a restructuring of Wyevale's products and services, and building buying and sourcing teams which have played a major part in rejuvenating the business.

Since the beginning of this year, he has worked closely with Jim Hodkinson, executive chairman, and this appointment formalises his key leadership role in the business, Wyevale said.

Jim Hodkinson, executive said: "Wyevale is making excellent progress towards our medium term targets and his wide experience and background in retailing will be invaluable in helping us achieve our objectives. "
