Wyevale joins forces with WRAP to give compost tips

Published: 25 March 2008
Wyevale Garden Centres has teamed up with WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) to offer free advice and tips to visitors at a selection of its garden centres nationwide during April and May.
Marketing events manager for Wyevale, Natalie Moulden said WRAP will bring a staffed 'Compost Kiosk' to 17 of its stores so gardeners can find out about using peat-free composts in their garden and also about making their own compost.

Ms Moulden said: "It's a great way to help spread the word about why using peat-free compost containing recycled material is good for gardeners as well as the environment."

WRAP's 'Compost Kiosk' will be at Wyevale Garden Centre – Hare Hatch and Old Barn Garden Centre near Horsham in West Sussex on April 12 and Wyevale Garden Centre – Osterley and Wyevale Garden Centre - Brighton on April 13.

The kiosk will be moving on to various Wyevale centres including Woodlands Nurseries near Hinckley, Leicestershire, and Bridgemere Garden World in Cheshire on April 22.
