Garden centre group celebrates after being voted 'Best Garden Centre' in an online poll by Gardeners' World Magazine.
The Wyevale group was rated best for value for money, service, choice, quality and overall performance by more than 7,900 gardeners.
Wyevale chief executive Nicholas Marshall said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the title of Best Garden Centre in the Gardeners' World Magazine's online poll. It is a testament to how hard the staff work at all 122 garden centres in the group.
"We would like to thank all the garden centre teams and staff at head office for their hard work and commitment in helping us to win this top accolade."
Gardeners' World Magazine and www.gardenersworld.com launched their 2009 awards in March by inviting readers of the magazine and users of the website to vote on categories including most loved and hated plants and vegetables, the most common garden pest, the gadget they couldn't live without, the best garden centre and best online/mail order supplier.
The poll also revealed that secateurs were the nation's favourite garden tool, with trowels, forks, spades and lawn mowers also featuring in the category of tools that gardeners feel they couldn't live without.
