Leading security specialist, Yale UK, has announced the appointment of Andrew Dixon to the role of Retail Sales Director. His new role will see him take responsibility for the DIY channel, with a focus on growing the Yale brand in the retail division.
Mr Dixon brings a breadth of experience in both the mechanical and smart security sectors to his new role, particularly through his previous positions as Head of Buying for Kingfisher, and as Senior Buying Manager for Tesco.
In his new role, he will be working closely with customers to develop sustainable and mutually profitable business plans through both retailer customers and the Yale online store.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Dixon said: “With the retail market currently undergoing a series of radical changes, it’s the perfect time to be joining Yale, particularly with the opportunity the brand holds with its Smart Living range. I envisage this will be ‘the’ growth category for DIY retailers in the future.
“With Yale being at the centre of this category, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of such a well-known, household name in the security sector, and look forward to joining the team at such a promising period”.
Speaking about the new appointment, managing director at Yale, Nigel Fisher said: “With the future of retail continuing to shift so dramatically, it’s important to invest in the team so we can continue to see growth in this field, and I believe Andrew’s knowledge and experience will make him a valued member of the Yale Retail team.”
