Yale has appointed four new salespeople to strengthen support to its national network of trade customers.
Gemma Attiwell has been employed as business development manager and will focus on developing new and existing customers across the independent trade market. Ms Attiwell has a strong, 10-year background in working with the locksmith market, as well as various other trade customers from her previous employer Avocet Hardware.
Simon Kasperowicz has been taken on as business development manager for the North, appointed to develop the use of the Yale and UNION brands into the local authority/social housing repair and maintenance market. Mr Kasperowicz has a wealth of experience he brings from working for Travis Perkins and Jewsons over a 15-year career.
Dave Hedley has been recruited as business development manager for the South, and will also be developing the Yale and UNION brands similar to Mr Kasperowicz. Mr Hedley has worked in sales for 35 years, with previous brands including Wolseley UK.
In addition, Andy Hudson has been taken on as territory manager for the Southwest, looking after independent hardware customers and builders merchants, as well as locksmiths. Mr Hudson comes with 20 years experience in the field, previously working for HG International.
Yale's head of trade, Mark Efford, commented: "2014 is going to bring a wealth of opportunities for all our trade and locksmith customers. We have a comprehensive marketing schedule planned, incorporating full customer support for us to work together to increase security sales. This new batch of appointments is testament to the amount we will be investing in all our existing and new customers, next year and beyond."
