Abus turns to workplace security

Published: 6 January 2015
Abus is addressing workplace security with its new industrial safety range of products that fall under the lockout/tagout category (LOTO).
Abus turns to workplace security
Lockout is the physical action of locking off switches or valves to industrial machinery, while tagout refers to the marking of lockout points with information or warning signs.

The range offers LOTO products for all industrial machinery switches, outlets, gate valves, ball valves, compressed air connections, circuit breakers etc.

Lockout safety padlocks are available in various colours, with spaces for inscription or engraving. Also offered is the new Safety Redbox, whereby only the foreman need lock out all the access points and then put the different keys into the box. Individual 'gatekeepers' then lock the box with their personalised padlock, with all their keys safely stored during the maintenance process.
