Draper and Ardex back DIY school

Published: 18 June 2008
Draper Tools and Ardex Tiling Adhesives are supporting a DIY school set up 12 months ago by two residential property developers.
The two tool suppliers are providing products for the DIY School in Stockport, which runs courses on tiling, decorating and plastering tied to basic instruction on how to drill, bleed a radiator and fix a leading tap.

The success of the school - it is set to turn over £250,000 this year - has been driven by a growing number of female diyers who, according to one of the owners, Any Gerrard, are 'forging ahead to product exceptional work'.
