Investment in labelling and manufacturing aims to make the brand more appealing.
Spending on research and development will continue is the message from Plasti-kote, which has announced improvements in its product range.
After consumer and retailer research and a multi-million dollar investment in its manufacturing facilities from parent Valspar, Plasti-kote has developed an easy-release cap for more consumers to tap into the spray market.
"Increased sales over the last year and the resulting rise in our market share have made this an exciting time for us," said Paul Silk, head of sales and marketing.
"Significant expenditure on product improvements has enhanced our consumer and retailer proposition, providing a platform for future sales growth at a time when consumers are valuing the benefits of spray over brush."
The easy-release cap, which uses a 'pinch and pull off' movement is 100% colour matched for colour selection.
Plasti-kote has also invested in new manufacturing techniques, introduced new labelling and shelf-ready packaging to make the brand more appealing.
