Getting to the bottom of water efficiency at Glee

Published: 19 September 2007
Eye-catching product offered visitors a comical solution to water shortages.
Getting to the bottom of water efficiency at Glee
Straight Plc, Europe's leading supplier of recycling containers, teamed up with Hemingway Design to offer an unusual take on the common water butt.

The resulting product – the Butt Butt – is literally a water butt in the shape of a bottom.

The rainwater collecting device certainly got some looks at its stand in Hall 5 and seems to have fulfilled Straight Plc's brief of a practical yet fun and contemporary product.

Butt Butts are available now at selected B&Q stores.
