Self-priming, self-undercoating paint that sticks to any surface

Published: 11 March 2021 - Neil Mead

Getting a self-priming, self-undercoating paint that sticks to any surface may seem impossible, but the team at Bedec Products who have been manufacturing problem solving paints for almost 50 years have found the winning formula with their MSP!

The original innovators of water-based paint products, Bedec’s leading paint chemists have successfully grown the company without the large marketing budgets of many other paint manufacturers. Bedec Products are British owned and British produced. They rely on word of mouth to promote their range of specialist paints and once you have used MSP, they claim, it is something to write home about.

Multi Surface Paint or MSP as fans will know, goes on effortlessly by brush, roller or spray and cleans up easily with water. Its widely used on all types of substrate such as UPVC, OSB boards, Galvanized steel, lead, copper and radiators. It is suitable for interior or exterior, its microporous, low VOC, environmentally friendly and safe to use on children’s furniture such as cribs.

MSP is available in three finishes – gloss, satin and matt in over 40 colours including metallic Gold and Silver, Bedec also offer a unique colour matching service for most of their products.

Another of Bedec’s fantastic products is their high performance flexible masonry paint known as Extra Flex which is available in a wide range of gorgeous colours and is also able to be specially mixed to other shades upon request. It is unique in that it stretches up to 400% with the substrate where movement

causes cracking in conventional masonry paints. It is ideally suited for the protection of exterior masonry, roughcast, pebbledash, brickwork, cement and concrete rendered surfaces.

Take a look at Bedec’s social media pages on Facebook & Instagram (@bedecproducts) for some more beautiful examples of MSP and Extra Flex in use.

So why not consider Bedec when customers want to brighten up the interior or exterior of their property or are giving the garden furniture an ‘up-cycle’ over the coming spring / summer months? Bedec will no doubt have the right paint for the project!
