Following its highly successful launch into the UK market, ToughBuilt Industries is introducing its own UK-based sales team.
Until now, the US manufacturer has worked with Toolbank as its exclusive UK distributor to supply its range of innovative Sawhorses, Clip Tech® pouches, Tool Bags, Totes, Kneepads and Mitre Saw Stands to stockists across the country.
The manufacturer’s new sales team will now take on this role and includes both field and office-based personnel. The new sales team is also supported by a new ToughBuilt UK distribution centre.
Vahe Der Kureghian, managing director at ToughBuilt (Europe) explains: “Following ToughBuilt’s launch into the UK in 2019, Toolbank has been nothing short of an exceptional distribution partner. The company’s knowledge and coverage of the market, as well as its highly responsive service, have all proved invaluable in helping ToughBuilt to establish a UK presence and in enabling us to enjoy exponential growth.
“The introduction of our own UK-based sales and distribution arrangements in no way detracts from those achievements. Instead, it’s a natural progression for ToughBuilt which makes sound commercial sense for us as a business.”
The introduction of the new ToughBuilt sales and distribution operation will mean a change to how existing customers order the manufacturer’s products.
All orders which customers would like to place or have delivered after 1st March 2021 should be sent to ToughBuilt direct from the above date, rather than Toolbank. Aside from this, ToughBuilt is advising customers that it will be very much ‘business as usual’.
The new UK sales and distribution operation is just the latest in a series of developments from ToughBuilt which demonstrate the company’s long-term commitment to the UK and wider European markets.
In 2019, the business established its first office in Europe with the opening of premises in London. This London office was complemented in 2020 with a co-located product showroom.
More recently, the business has invested into a European warehousing and distribution centre, located in Amsterdam, and established dedicated sales teams in Germany, France, Spain and Ukraine.
