Following customer research, Dulux Decorator Centre has taken the decision to introduce hundreds of new products across its branches, bringing a host of new suppliers on board, from specialist paints to cleaning products.
The move follows a widespread review of its entire product range and research project to further understand the need of its customers as part of the national retailer’s ‘Centred On You’ proposition.
The market insight led the decorating specialist to introduce 500 new products across multiple categories, with new lines added from a range of suppliers in order to provide diverse options for customers.
The new additions include specialist paints and primers from Zinsser, Blackfriar, Bollom and Thermoguard that cover interiors, woodcare, exteriors and fire protection. The retailer’s range of preparation products has also been enhanced, with the introduction of cleaning products from well-known brands, such as HG, Ultragrime, Zinsser and many more.
In addition, an extensive range of Dulux Decorator Centre own-brand workwear is being stocked alongside Dexters workwear.
According to parent firm Akzo Nobel, there are further product reviews planned throughout 2019, to continue to enhance the customer experience for professional decorators.
Dulux Decorator Centre managing director John Henderson said: “We are constantly trying to add value for our customers, by providing the products and services they need to ensure the best possible results every time. This is something we will continue to do to ensure we always have the right products for our customers.”
