Kingfisher’s LGBTQ+ Network has been commended in the New Colleague Network of the Year award at the inaugural Rainbow Honours 2019.

The category was looking for LGBTQ networks which have been operational for 12 months or less and which are already making a difference to the company's LGBTQ colleagues.

The Kingfisher LGBTQ+ Network is the first of its colleague inclusion networks. It has been set up and driven by its colleagues for colleagues and is a key catalyst on the journey to make Kingfisher a good home for everyone. The network has already, in its first year, brought together over 300 UK colleagues to start a dialogue on LGBTQ+ issues, supporting the Stonewall EqualiTea event in the UK and supporting B&Q through its first ever entry for the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
