Kingfisher has announced that Clare Chapman, non-executive director and Remuneration Committee Chair, has notified the company of her intention to step down from the board on 21 January 2020.

Chapman has served on the board for nine years and, in line with the company's commitment to good governance, has decided to step down from the board at this point.

Claudia Arney, non-executive director, will be appointed Remuneration Committee Chair, from 21 January 2020.
